Brian... um grande amigo e apaixonado pela Land Rover

Muito o conheciam, e 100% o amavam!

Para aqueles que não o conheciam, segue um breve relato sobre esse Ingles, com Land Rover nas veias, e coração Brasileiro!

Nasceu em Scarborough (North Yorkshine) Inglaterra, sendo que veio ainda criança morar no Brasil. Estudou e formou-se no St. Paul’s School de São Paulo. Trabalhou por 42 anos na Aerzener UK/Brasil.

Brian na década de 80, formou a maior coleção de Lands do Brasil, passando por suas mãos mais de 200 exemplares dos Series 1, 2 e 3. Nessa coleção possuía todos modelos: Lands 80”, 86”, 88”, 107”, 109”, além das raras e fantásticas Ranges de 1970.

Tamanho conhecimento, fizeram com que ele fosse o contato da Land Rover Inglaterra no Brasil até o final da década de 90, quando a montadora veio para terras tupiniquins! 

1985 parte da coleção 

Em 1985 Bigo Berg e Marcelo Zebra, na época com 15 anos de idade, conheceram o famoso Brian, sendo que ao entrarem em sua casa na Granja Viana/SP, ficaram sem palavras pelo o que estavam vendo!

Para onde olhavam, viam Lands de todos modelos e anos, peças e mais peças espalhadas pela garagem, pela sala, pelo terraço… realmente estavam em um paraíso!

Surfary saindo de Ubatuba

Brian que não tinha filhos por ser estéril, simplesmente adotou Bigo, Zebra e outros 18 jovens, formando a maior viagem de Lands realizada no Brasil, o famoso Surfary 1986.

O Surfary foi formado por 21 amigos, sob comando do Brain, aonde eles percorreram o litoral Brasileiro, exibindo alguns dos modelos mais fantásticos da Land Rover… 88”, 107” e 109”.

Nos anos seguintes, Bigo e Zebra infectados pelo vírus Land Rover, representaram a marca nas principais provas off road no Brasil, América do Sul e até na Africa!

São muitas histórias, que só foram possíveis de serem escritas, graças ao Amor imensurável desse Ingles, pela Land Rover e pelo Brasil.

Many knew him, and 100% loved him!

For those who did not know it, there is a brief report about this English, with Land Rover in the veins, and Brazilian heart!

She was born in Scarborough (North Yorkshine) England, and she was still a child living in Brazil. Studied and graduated from St. Paul's School in São Paulo. He worked for 42 years at Aerzener UK / Brasil.

Brian in the 80s, formed the largest collection of Lands in Brazil, passing through his hands more than 200 copies of Series 1, 2 and 3. In this collection he had all models: Lands 80 ", 86", 88 ", 107", 109 ", in addition to the rare and fantastic Ranges of 1970.

Knowledge, made him the contact of Land Rover England in Brazil until the end of the 90's, when the automaker came to Tupiniquins lands!

In 1985 Bigo Berg and Marcelo Zebra, at the time 15 years old, met the famous Brian, and when they entered his house in Granja Viana / SP, they were speechless for what they were seeing!

Where they looked, they saw Lands of all models and years, pieces and more pieces scattered throughout the garage, the living room, the terrace... they really were in a paradise!

Brian, who had no children because he was barren, simply adopted Bigo, Zebra and 18 other young people, forming the largest Lands trip in Brazil, the famous Surfary 1986.

The Surfary was formed by 21 friends, under the command of the Brain, where they traveled along the Brazilian coast, exhibiting some of the most fantastic Land Rover models... 88 ", 107" and 109 ".

In the following years, Bigo and Zebra infected by the Land Rover virus, represented the brand in the main off road tests in Brazil, South America and even in Africa!

There are many stories that were only possible to write, thanks to the immeasurable love of this English by Land Rover and Brazil.

Here is a little homage to this great Friend and Example.
